You can set the return conditions for your shop in your settings under shipping settings (Versandeinstellungen).
You can choose from four options:
- "We include a return label with the package for free return"
- "The customer can create a return label for free return in our returns portal" (link to your own returns portal must be provided)
- "Upon request, we will forward a return label to the customer for free return" (email address for contacting you must be given)
- "The customer shall bear the costs of the return shipment"
The cancellation policy must also state whether you as the seller or the customer must pay for the return shipping.
Since customers often place orders with multiple sellers, it’s important to include all necessary return information in the package (e.g. a return form or a note referring to the returns portal) to avoid confusion.
