Price reductions work differently depending on how your listings are managed on Avocadostore. Please select the scenario that applies to you:
1. You created your products manually in the merchant backend
Option A (for individual SKUs): Change the price manually
If you only want to reduce a few listings, you can adjust the price directly in the offer view within the Avocadostore merchant area.
Notes:
This method is suitable only for individual listings.
Make sure an RRP/original price is stored for the listing so that the reduced price is displayed correctly as a strikethrough price.
Option B (for many listings): Export, edit, and reupload listings
If you want to reduce several listings at once, use the offer export.
Here’s how to proceed:
Export your current listings
Under Imports & Exports, you can start a CSV export in step 2 of the offer import. The file will be sent to you by email.Edit the desired prices in the CSV
Adjust the prices of the desired SKUs directly in the file.
Important:All listings should have an RRP so that the reduced price can appear as a strikethrough price.
The strikethrough price will only be shown if the new offer price is 11% or more below the RRP.
Upload the updated CSV
The price will then be updated accordingly.
This solution is especially suitable if you want to discount many listings at once.
2. You use an automated offer import
If your shop regularly sends price and stock data to Avocadostore via CSV/API connection (e.g., Plenty), any manually set prices in the merchant backend will be automatically overwritten.
Option A (recommended): Adjust the price directly in your own shop system
Change the prices where your offer import file is generated — in your shop system itself.
Advantages:
Price changes remain permanent
The automatic import continues to work as usual
Reduced prices are correctly displayed with a strikethrough price (provided an RRP is available)
Note:
As soon as your shop system reflects the change in the export file, Avocadostore will apply it during the next automatic import (e.g., every 15 minutes).
