In the shop backend, you will find a corresponding notice on the dashboard under the “Settings” tab that shows which data is invalid.
There are a few common reasons for this:
Company name and/or address:
Every single letter matters, as well as every comma and period. The information must match exactly (1:1) with the data stored at the German Federal Central Tax Office (BZSt).
You can try variations such as “Str.” and “Straße”, for example.
Company name:
In some cases, you may need to enter your full legal name (first and last name) as the company name. This mainly affects small businesses and sole traders.
Please note that the full legal name entered as the company name will not be displayed on the marketplace, but our documents, such as invoices, will be addressed to this name and address.
If none of this helps and the data is still shown as invalid, please contact the BZSt directly and request your data there. Unfortunately, we do not have a specific contact person at the BZSt.
If you have recently moved your company headquarters, it may take some time for the updated data to be correctly stored at the BZSt.
